Your UKEV Experience

The Survey Process

You don't have to wait-in for a survey visit. Instead, we can schedule a video survey at a time convenient to you, or you can submit a recording to us*. We'll need to understand more about your distribution board and the journey to your desired charging point location**. This saves thousands of miles of unnecessary travel each month.

**We may advise a different location to ensure your installation is compliant.

Choosing a Charger

Once your site survey is complete, we'll recommend a charging solution for you.

There's a range of EV chargers on the market and the technologies underpinning these are fast-moving.

Document Submission

We may require documents from you such as proof of land ownership or permission to install a charger. Nobody likes paperwork so we've tried to make life easier with an online submission process.

We must notify your DNO (electricity distribution network operator) of the installation at least 30 days in advance. Please bear this in mind when considering an installation date.

Installation Day

You'll receive a reminder about your installation day and a more accurate arrival time. Whilst we'd expect an installation to last 2-3 hours, some can take longer. Once your installation is complete, our technician will demonstrate how the system works.
