COMMERCIAL AND WORKPLACE CHARGING
With the growing uptake of electric vehicles, EV charging facilities add value for your staff and visitors. Here at UKEV, we help to navigate this with you.

The availability of workplace charging grants (through the Workplace Charging Scheme) supports offices, businesses, and charities to invest in the EV movement and provide EV charging at your destination.

UKEV are OZEV approved WCS installers.

Here we'll explain more about how you can work with us to achieve your commercial or destination EV charger install.
Feasibility and Consultancy
We help organisations to develop business cases for their charging installations including needs assessments (staff and visitor research), site plans, funding support and proposal development. We help organisations to make decisions about EV readiness.

Grant draw-down
Workplaces can benefit from upto £14k of government funding through the OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme. UKEV can support you to make use of this grant opportunity and are OZAV approved installers.

Growth of EV
"At the end of Q2 2020 plug-in-hybrid, battery electric, range-extended electric or fuel cell electric cars accounted for 10.9% of all newly registered cars. A year earlier this was just 2.2%."

EV ADOPTION
Capital Allowances
Incentives to adopt an EV fleet give rise to the need for a bank of EV chargers at your sites. Currently, a 100% capital allowance can be written down in the year of acquisition.

Happy People
Data by EV Charging Manufacturer, PodPoint suggests that free electric charging is equivalent to an 8.5% pay rise at a cost of £150 a year per employee. Chargers can also be revenue-generating.
